Elevator Pitch No. 3

Image
Reflection: I received no feedback on the second one, but I thought that I needed to add a few things. The first being give a price for the service, I added an estimate because I don’t know what price would be. Also explain what the service is because I did an okay job the first couple times. To improve this, I explained why my service was sort of different to others. I think that all three points were true as I knew the pitch almost like the back of my hand, it was smoother, and I was not afraid of the camera like I was the first time.

Reading Reflection No. 2

Thinking, fast and slow, Daniel Kahneman 1.       The general theme of the book was to identify how the effort and energy put in to thinking affects us. He brings up many patterns that affect us like the halo effect and endowment affect. He uses this to help us know how to target people with different types of ads. 2.       Daniel says there are two systems of thinking one is fast other is slow. I have used those two systems in this class when I take the cupcakes and when I’m doing the assignments. In interview you got to think fast where as in the reflection you can slow think to get a better idea and a more in-depth one. 3.       I would create an exercise to test the anchoring effect that Daniel talks about. I would have an add that have different information exposed differently to the participant and we would see what got the attention the most with a survey. 4.       The bi...

Idea Napkin No. 2

1. Hello, my name is Ishan Patel, I am a sports management major at UF and have huge interest in sports. I follow just about every sport and therefore, I hope to launch a platform that will allow someone to watch any sport in the world. The business would consume my life as not only would I use the product but would also be trying to secure deals to ensure the success of the product.  2. I am offering a streaming service that will allow you to stream any sport that you want to watch. It will include all foreign sports as well to ensure that everybody that likes sports can enjoy. The service will let you choose what team you would like to watch instead of having to watch whatever team is being aired in the area if the sport was on regular cable.  3. I am offering it to anybody that likes to watch sports. The service will be for people that like multiple sports mainly as they wouldn’t have to purchase multiple channels or subscriptions to watch the sports they like. I...

Elevator Pitch No. 2

Reflection From the feedback the most important was maybe give a pricing option as it would give some idea as to cost. What surprised me the most was that this need was seen as something that many people would use. I thought that the most useful feedback was that I need to show how it is going to meet the unmet need that a customer is going to have.  Changes  I made it longer to include how it is going to fit the unmet need. I haven't though of price range so I didn't include it but gave an idea as to something that would be a low cost.

Create a Customer Avatar

This is Sean he grew up in Florida and currently attend University of Florida as a sports management major. He is of Indian decent as his parents are from India. He grew up playing soccer. However, he enjoys watching and playing almost all sports. He loves watching soccer the most. He drives a nice sports car, white accord to be exact. He enjoys the outdoors as well, loves to hike trails and explore. Sean also enjoys watching other sports that aren’t in the US like Cricket and Formula 1. I have a lot in common with this avatar. He is almost like me as I love to watch sports. I think that it is not a coincidence that we are common as I based it kind of off me as I am a prototypical customer of the product. I think that when I thought of the product I thought of problems I have and would want a solution to them.

Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2

The findings In my first interview the person watched soccer and football mainly. He purchases the NFL Sunday ticket every year so that he can watch all the game, However, for soccer he just streams it online. There is no alternative option to watching football other than streaming or watching on cable but then you can’t watch your team, so he buys the package. The second person was a female that watches softball and baseball for softball, she just tries and hopes that someone is streaming it like ESPN or some other company because they rarely get put on tv. She said that she would purchase anything to let her watch every game if it was possible. The last person I interviewed watched almost any sport that was on tv as he was a fan of almost all sports. He said that his favorite sport is basketball but love the Lakers and only gets to watch when on live tv he think the NBA pass is too expensive. He sometimes will stream the game. Conclusions The alternative evaluation is wei...
