My Entrepreneurship Story
My story starts with my parents, they came from India and started off by owning a motel. They then purchased a dry cleaner then more motels. I have been with entrepreneurs my whole life. I get to see and learn from them every day. Once I turned 16, I started working at both learning whatever I could so that one day I too could be an entrepreneur. They taught me a lot about owning businesses as well as vital skills that are needed to be and entrepreneur.
The reason that I enrolled in ENT 3003 was to fulfill my requirements but after the first week I have enjoyed the class. I hope to learn more skills about being an entrepreneur as well as gain more knowledge about how to be a successful entrepreneur.

Hi Ishan,
ReplyDeleteI completely relate to you and your entrepreneurship story as my father is also an entrepreneur. I, too, learned so much from my father, who has opened two successful businesses in my hometown as well as investing in real estate (flipping houses, commercial properties, renting home properties etc.). All of which has taught me different facets of the business world and what vital skills, as you mentioned, are needed to profit off the entrepreneurial spirit and doings. I love that you point out that having entrepreneurs as parents means that it is a huge part of your life, as in my experience it became a topic most children don't really have an option but to be immersed with it. Good post!
